Q. Who can rent GSNorCal properties?
A. Girl Scout members in and out of GSNorCal council, and non-profit groups serving youth.
To qualify as a GSNorCal group and receive GSNorCal rental rates, the group must be comprised of at least 60% current or lifetime GSNorCal members.
All non-profit organizations serving youth must provide proof of liability insurance coverage of up to 1 million dollars and name Girl Scouts of Northern California as an additional insured.
Q. Do I have to pay in full?
A. Yes, all groups pay in full for all ropes course, archery and hatchet throwing reservations after their reservation has been approved.
Q. What is the ropes course cancellation policy?
A. Cancellations & Refunds Ropes Course Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect the program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. GSNorCal may cancel reservations due to site maintenance problems, site damage, errors in reservations or for other reasons. If GSNorCal cancels the reservation we will issue a refund for 100% of the rental fee. Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing to registration@gsnorcal.org. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of reservation fees. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event, and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a doctor’s note. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
Q. What is the archery and hatchet throwing cancellation policy?

Ropes Course
Note: High Ropes programming is available for 4th grades and up.

Dynamic Course
The dynamic course is the highest section of the ropes course, towering up to 65 feet in the air and extended between Redwoods. It is most similar in style to rock climbing, but utilizes the natural redwood trees. It has multiple routes for varying challenges and preferences of climbing. Participants are belayed by a facilitator and choose their own level of challenge while they climb the trees. This is our most popular offering for all skill levels.

Zipline
Climb up to the 45 foot tall zipline platform via our enclosed cargo net. Catch your breath and enjoy the view before stepping off and taking a short ride on the zipline through the trees. This is an introductory challenge course experience, best for participants that are new to stepping outside their comfort zone.

Camporee/Service Units:
· This option is for Girl Scout Service Units that want to give their members a taste of high adventure on the Dynamic Course. This program does not have the teambuilding emphasis of a traditional ropes course program, and instead focuses on participants challenging themselves and having new experiences. Each participant should expect to climb one time during a 1.5 hour session. This option is not available to be reserved on our website. If you would like this option please email registration@gsnorcal.org.

Archery
Our Archery ranges and equipment are available for reservation at Camp Bothin, Camp Butano Creek, Camp Hidden Falls and Camp Twin Canyons.

Archery Range ONLY:
- 8:00am to Noon or 1:00pm to 5:00pm
- MUST provide Level 1 certified archery instructor. Proof of certification will be required.

- You may bring your own equipment if you choose too; the rental option and pricing are the same.
Archery:
If you reserve archery programming, we’ll provide the facilitator too! Aim high with our certified staff. Reservations are subject to instructor availability.
Introduction to safety and basic archery skills. Participants will learn about the parts of the bow and arrow, proper mechanics, and have opportunity to shoot.

Hatchet Throwing
Hatchet Throwing:
Introduction to safety and basic target sport skills. Participants will learn about the safety, stance, and proper mechanics, and will have the opportunity to throw.
