Adjacent to Camp Bothin in beautiful Marin County, Arequipa offers a winterized facility, group campsites, access to hiking trails and close proximity to a variety of environmental and adventure-based resources. Whether seeking site-based programs or offsite adventures, Arequipa provides a menu of affordable options for small groups to medium sized groups. Take advantage of Camp Bothin programs offerings, such as archery, high ropes course, zipline and more.
- Reservations for June 1 to November 30 will open April 1.
- Reservations for December 1 through May 30 will open September 1.
Please Note: If you are a Non Girl Scout Non Profit Serving Youth and are interested in renting one of our sites, please contact us at registration@gsnorcal.org for pricing and information. We are not able to rent our properties for private events, companies or non profits not serving youth.

Steinau House:
Day capacity of 24
- At this time Steinau House is only be used for Day Use. Overnight accommodations are not available inside Steinau House.
- Complete kitchen with propane stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, sink and drainer
- Meeting/eating room, small lounge area, electricity, indoor showers, indoor fireplace.
- Outdoor picnic tables, barbecue and campfire area
Buckeye Campsite:
Overnight capacity of 16
- Barbecue, campfire ring, running water, picnic tables, potable water at campsite and areas for tent camping
- Two flush toilets and an outdoor sink, no electricity
- Stairs up to campsite from parking area
Madrone Campsite:
Overnight capacity of 16
- Water spicket
- Picnic table
- Tent camping only, bring your own tents
Redwood Glen:
Overnight capacity of 30

- Take 101 North across the Golden Gate Bridge.
- Take exit 450B Sir Francis Drake Blvd/San Anselmo.
- Continue on Sir Francis Drake Blvd for about 6 miles, passing through the town of Fairfax. The camp entrance is about 1.5 miles past Fairfax.
- Turn left into the entrance to Camp Arequipa.
From East Bay/Contra Costa:
- Take I-580 West across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.
- Take exit 2A Sir Francis Drake Blvd toward 101 South.
- Continue on Sir Francis Drake Blvd for about 10 miles, passing through the town of Fairfax. The camp entrance is about 1.5 miles past Fairfax.
- Turn left into the entrance to Camp Arequipa.
