The Challenge Course Specialist provides a teambuilding and adventure experience on a high element ropes course that is safe, fun, and appropriate for the campers’ ages and abilities. They are responsible for planning, teaching, and assisting in coordination of climbing activities and guide campers in their personal growth and teamwork development. Assist in the management of the physical operation of all ropes courses and related equipment. Promote high standards in all aspects of the camp program. Serve as a role model to campers and staff by your actions, appearance, manners, language, and general conduct. The Art Specialist develops and delivers arts and crafts activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate for all Campers’ ages and abilities. The Arts and Crafts Specialist develops and delivers arts and crafts activities that are safe, fun and appropriate for the campers’ ages and abilities. The Assistant Camp Director is responsible for the development, implementation, administration and coordination of camp. This person should have administrative, supervisory experience in organized camps and be able to further the mission of the camp through the planning and delivery of specialized programs and events as well as operations and logistics. Assist the Camp Director with management of camp operations. Promote high standards in all aspects of the camp program. Serve as a role model to campers and staff by your actions, appearance, manners, language, and general conduct. The Aquatics Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of a swimming and boating program that is safe and appropriate for camper abilities and oversee the management of the physical operation of the aquatic’s facilities and equipment.

The Boating Lifeguard is responsible for providing supervision and ensuring a safe environment at the camps aquatic activities. Assist with the management of the physical operation and equipment of the pool and waterfront facilities.

The Camp Communications Manager is responsible for the distribution of camp mail, and daily uploading (on designated social media) of high-quality photos and status updates that align with the mission and goals of Girl Scouts of Northern California and illustrate the activities campers participate in. They must maintain accurate documentation of photo released campers and capture groups accordingly.

A Lifeguard is responsible for providing supervision and ensuring a safe environment at the camp’s waterfront activities. Assist with the management of the physical operation of the waterfront facilities and equipment. Promote high standards in all aspects of the camp program. Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, planning and leading those as assigned.

Counselors are the primary caregivers for campers. Counselors are responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. Counselors work in a team to ensure the upkeep of camper living spaces, camper safety, and promote high standards in all aspects of the camp program. Serve as a role model to campers and staff through actions, appearance, manners, language, and general, conduct. The Nature & STEM Specialist oversees the planning, coordination, and teaching of STEM related programming, which may include engineering design challenges, simple circuit projects, and/or tinkering activities and nature programs including games, walks, and lessons. The Nature & STEM specialist is responsible for promoting high standards in all aspects of the camp program, serving as a role model to campers and staff through personal actions, appearance, manners, language, and general conduct, in addition participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, including planning and leading those as assigned.

The Out-Trip Driver is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for campers to various local activity sites. The driver will transport boats and other equipment as necessary.

The Equestrian Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of a riding program that is safe and appropriate for both campers and horse ability. They will manage the physical operations of the horse back riding facilities and animals.

The Health Care Manager is responsible for providing health and safety services to campers and staff. Promote high standards of health and wellness and lead in the cultivation of a culture of mindful health practices at camp. Implement camp-wide health and safety guidelines to mitigate risk of injury and illness.

The Kitchen Assistant assists in preparing and serving nutritious meals to all campers, staff and guests. They are responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dishwashing area. A Kitchen Lead is responsible for the overall dining experience for staff and campers – including but not limited to food ordering and accommodating dietary restrictions. At Hidden Falls, this will primarily include distributing ingredients for campers to cook with their counselors in their units. The Lead Counselor is responsible for the development and implementation of camp unit programs. This person should have administrative and supervisory experience in organized camps and be able to further the mission of the camp through the planning and delivery of specialized programs and events. They provide mentorship and assistance to Unit Counselors, and assist the Camp Director with management of camp operations. Promote high standards in all aspects of the camp program. The Counselor in Training (CIT) Lead Counselor is the primary caregiver for older campers. These campers are enrolled in various stages of the Counselor in Training (CIT) program. This person should have supervisory or leadership experience. They must develop and deliver leadership training that is safe, fun and appropriate for the campers’ ages and abilities. They are also responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating and carrying out an established leadership program for 9th – 12th graders. Group leadership, youth development experience and program development skills needed. Promote high standards in all aspects of the camp program. Serve as a role model to campers and staff. Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, planning and leading those as assigned. Promote a high standard of health and safety at camp.

Assist in the management of the nature center, oversee the care of livestock, and related equipment and supplies.

The  Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Camp Director in logistical coordination of camp. This person should be dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with operations and logistics of some kind. Property Assistants are responsible for ensuring an overall safe environment at camp. Assist the property ranger with the implementation and management of facility and equipment maintenance for the whole site.

The Riding Instructor assists in implementing a riding program, that is safe, fun and appropriate to the campers’ ages and abilities. They will provide the care and maintenance of the horses and related equipment.

The STEM specialist is responsible for managing the MakerSpace and related equipment and supplies, promoting high standards in all aspects of the camp program, serving as a role model to campers and staff through personal actions, appearance, manners, language, and general conduct, in addition participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, including planning and leading those as assigned.

The Target Sports Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of archery and hatchet-throwing programs that are safe and appropriate for campers and their abilities. They will manage the physical operations of the archery and hatchet-throwing ranges.

The Wellness Manager is responsible for the emotional well-being of campers and staff. They are responsible for assisting the Healthcare Manager with the health and safety services to campers and staff. Promote high standards in all aspects of health and wellness.
