Planning a visit to our sites? Add extra fun with High Ropes or Archery programming. Whether you're a troop, school, family, nonprofit serving youth, GSNorCal properties and facilitators are a great choice for your next trip, outing, event, program, training, or outdoor retreat!

Ropes Course

Note: High Ropes programming is available for 4th grades and up.

Troop and Small group offerings:

Dynamic Course

· The dynamic course is the highest section of the ropes course, towering up to 65 feet in the air and extended between Redwoods. It has multiple routes for varying challenges and preferences of climbing. Participants are belayed by a facilitator and choose their own level of challenge while they climb the trees.

· 2-hour session

· 10:00-12:00 or 1:00-3:00

· 18 participant max

· $800

Zipline

· Climb up to the 45 foot tall zipline platform via our enclosed cargo net. Catch your breath and enjoy the view before stepping off and ziplining through the trees.

· Participants should expect to zipline one time during a 2 hour session.

· 2-hour session

· 10:00-12:00 or 1:00-3:00

· 18 participant max

· $800


Camporee/Service Units:

· This option is for Girl Scout Service Units that want to give their members a taste of high adventure on the Dynamic Course. This program does not have the teambuilding emphasis of a traditional ropes course program, and instead focuses on participants challenging themselves and having new experiences. Each participant should expect to climb one time during a 1.5 hour session. This option is not available to be reserved on our website. If you would like this option please email registration@gsnorcal.org.

· Dynamic only

· Groups can book between 1-3 sessions

· 10:00-11:30, 1:00-2:30, or 3:00-4:30

· 20 participants per session

· 1 session $600, 2 sessions $900, 3 sessions $1100

Request a High Ropes Reservation

Archery

Our Archery ranges and equipment are available for reservation at Camp Bothin, Camp Butano Creek, Camp Hidden Falls and Camp Twin Canyons.

Archery Range ONLY:

  • 8:00am to Noon or 1:00pm to 5:00pm
  • MUST provide Level 1 certified archery instructor. Proof of certification will be required.
  • Equipment provided
  • $50
  • You may bring your own equipment if you choose too; the rental option and pricing are the same.

Archery:

If you reserve archery programming, we'll provide the facilitator too! Aim high with our certified staff. Reservations are subject to instructor availability.

Introduction to safety and basic archery skills. Participants will learn about the parts of the bow and arrow, proper mechanics, and have opportunity to shoot.

  • Minimum age: 2nd grade (strictly enforced)
  • Maximum: 16 participants (1 group) 1 Group per time slot
  • 1 1/2 hour time slots
  • Cost: $165 per group

Hatchet Throwing

Hatchet Throwing:

Introduction to safety and basic target sport skills. Participants will learn about the safety, stance, and proper mechanics, and will have the opportunity to throw.

  • Minimum age: 6th grade (strictly enforced)
  • Maximum: 16 participants (1 group) 1 Group per time slot
  • 1 1/2 hour time slots
  • Cost: $165 per group

Outdoor Skills

Come to camp to brush up on your outdoor skills! Our facilitators will teach your group the skills you need to be successful on your next camping trip or outdoor adventure. Booking this program could be the perfect opportunity to complete the “Talk to an expert” step that many outdoor badges require. Choose from the following topics. Each skill is taught in a one hour block.
