Activities By Choice

At Bothin, you can customize your camp adventure with our unique Activities by Choice program structure. In addition to their themed program agenda, campers will also have free-choice time where they get to make independent decisions on early morning and afternoon activities.

Before breakfast, campers can choose from Get Up And Move activities, like sunrise yoga, polar bear swims, dance parties, and journaling. In the afternoon, they can pick from even more activities, such as specialty arts, tinkering in the MakerZone, archery, high ropes, hanging out in the Bothin Organic Garden, fort-building, and drama skits. And for every new activity they try, they’ll receive an “Activity Bead” to show off their accomplishments—it’s a great opportunity for girls to experience all the fun of camp, their way!

Join the Bothin Theatre Company

Immerse yourself in the world of performance art! Campers in these programs will explore and practice different aspects of theater production within a focused theme, such as acting, singing, dancing, improvisation, stage makeup, set design, technical support, and more. All groups will work toward a special project or performance at the end of their session. Girls will also have time to enjoy other beloved camp activities like swimming, outdoor cooking, arts and crafts, exploring the organic garden, and gathering around the campfire!

No matter where you stay at camp, you’ll find a cozy place to rest your head and call home for your visit. Bothin has a variety of housing, and the type of housing for girls or groups will vary and depend on the session they attend. Sleeping accommodations vary from dormitories and open-air cabins to platform tents with mattresses.

Transportation to Camp

Transportation is not provided to or from Bothin. Check-in is from 2–3 PM on the first day for each session. The closing ceremony will start at 11 AM on the last day of each camp session. Parents are encouraged to attend and celebrate their girl’s week of camp. Check out will be directly after the closing ceremony at 12 PM. Campers are expected to be dropped off and picked up during these times. Learn more about arrival, departure, and preparing for camp at Bothin!
