Girl Scouts of Northern California is home to eleven properties located throughout Northern California. Experience the adventure of cooking out, sleeping in a cabin or tent, gazing at the stars, or learning about nature. Each council site offers something unique, from old growth redwoods and the Pacific coast to trails that have sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay.

A Girl’s Place is your troop’s home away from home in Fairfield, CA! Perfect for overnights or troop gatherings, this property has a fully equipped kitchen and patio for all your troop meeting needs.

Alameda Office

GSNorCal’s Alameda office is home to a retail space and multiple rooms for meetings.

Arequipa

Located in Fairfax, CA, Camp Arequipa visitors can take advantage of nearby Bothin’s activities, ziplining through the trees, climbing the ropes course, or testing their aim at archery, as well as local adventures. Take the ferry and hike to the top of Angel Island, wander among the giants of Muir Woods, or go sea-kayaking or paddleboarding in local Sausalito.

Bothin

Nestled in the beautiful hills of Marin, Bothin’s cozy canopied canyon has it all. There are redwoods to zipline through, high ropes courses to climb, and exactly the right amount of sunshine to make your visit a glowing success.

Butano Creek

Located in the coastal redwoods of Pescadero, CA, Camp Butano Creek lies just minutes from the sparkling Pacific. This site offers a wide variety of exciting marine activities, including tide pooling, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing lessons, and backpacking on the Skyline to the Sea Trail, as well as more traditional camp activities, from archery to campfire songs.

Chico Office & Program Center

Located in the greater Chico area, this office and program center offers indoor and outdoor spaces for meetings, overnights and outdoor activities.

Eureka Office

Located in Eureka, this office offers indoor meeting and overnight accommodations.

Hidden Falls

Tucked away in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Camp Hidden Falls is one our best troop camping destinations. Stay onsite for a short trail hike through the redwoods leading to Hidden Falls, one of this site’s many gems, try your hand at the archery range or hatchet throwing range, or travel offsite to sea kayak up Elkhorn Slough to meet the sea otters.

Ida Smith

Ida Smith is located in the Outer Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco, just a few miles from Ocean Beach and the SF Zoo. Surrounded by Eucalyptus and Monterey Pines, Ida Smith provides easy access to the charms of San Francisco including beaches, ferry rides, a range of local museums, and more.

Lou Henry Hoover Girl Scout House

Dedicated to Girl Scouts in 1926, Lou Henry Hoover Girl Scout House is the oldest active scout meeting house today. This meeting house is located in Palo Alto near the local zoo, junior museum, and the thriving downtown area.

Rainbow’s End

Rainbow’s End is the perfect place for performances, troop gatherings, and outdoor meetings. Located in Beryessa, this property features a large grassy area and two pavilions for you to use for ceremonies, overnights, and troop bonding.

GSNorCal’s Redding office is home to a retail space and a community room for meetings.

San Jose Office

GSNorCal’s San Jose office is home to a retail space and multiple rooms for meetings and troop activities. Be sure to check out our Heritage exhibits, including a model of Juliette Gordon Low’s childhood home.

Santa Rosa Office & Program Center

GSNorCal’s Santa Rosa office is home to a retail space and indoor and outdoor spaces for meetings, overnights and activities.

Skylark Ranch

Where the mountains meet the sea, that’s where you’ll find Skylark Ranch. This property is located just north of Santa Cruz, and is perfect for exploring beaches, climbing trees, cooking over a campfire, and enjoying the stars.

Sugar Pine

Nestled in the Sierra Foothills, Camp Sugar Pine has been the center of Girl Scout Camping tradition for over 75 years. From the sparkling swimming pool to the monumental adventure tower, is a perfect base camp for exploring nearby lakes, caverns, and activities in Calaveras County.

Twin Canyon

Camp amidst 35 acres of oak canyons and grasslands at Camp Twin Canyon. Nestled among the East Bay hills with direct access to hiking trails in Briones Regional Park, Twin Canyon has panoramic views of Mt. Diablo and the San Francisco Bay, making it a stunning place to camp in the Bay Area.
